You're welcome to use 800one.com in ways that align with its purpose and comply with all applicable laws. This includes obtaining and configuring a phone number through a third-party provider (e.g., Twilio) to enable voice functionality. Examples of acceptable use include:

  • Managing customer inquiries with Voice AI agents
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Providing support via calls routed through your third-party number

User Responsibilities

Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your use of 800one.com complies with all applicable laws, including telecommunications (e.g., TCPA, GDPR), privacy, and anti-spam regulations. This includes securing and managing a phone number through a third-party provider (e.g., Twilio) and adhering to their terms.

Authorized Communications

Sending unsolicited calls or messages (e.g., spam) without prior express consent, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar regulations is strictly prohibited. Using the Services without a properly configured third-party phone number is also prohibited.

Prohibited Uses

To keep our Services safe, reliable, and legal, the following activities are strictly prohibited:

Illegal Activities

Using 800one.com for any purpose that violates local, state, national, or international laws, including fraud, harassment, or illegal telemarketing.

Unauthorized Communications

  • Sending unsolicited calls or messages (e.g., spam) without prior express consent, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar regulations
  • Engaging in robocalling practices that do not comply with applicable laws

Content Violations

  • Uploading or transmitting content that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, or infringes on intellectual property rights (e.g., copyrighted scripts without permission)
  • Using the Services to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code

Misuse of Resources

  • Overloading, disrupting, or attempting to hack 800one.com's systems or infrastructure
  • Reverse-engineering or modifying our software without authorization
  • Attempting to bypass third-party phone number provider requirements or using unverified numbers

Impersonation & Fraud

  • Impersonating individuals or entities, including falsifying caller ID information
  • Using 800one.com for phishing, scams, or deceptive practices

Recording Violations

Recording calls without proper consent where required by law (e.g., two-party consent states in the USA) is prohibited. Users must enable call recording notifications as mandated.

Resale Without Approval

Reselling or redistributing the Services without explicit written permission from 800one.com, unless under an Agency plan with white-label rights, is prohibited.

Enforcement

Monitoring

We may monitor usage to enforce this policy but are not obligated to do so.

Violations

If we suspect a violation, we may investigate and take action, including:

  • Issuing a warning
  • Suspending or terminating your account with or without notice
  • Reporting illegal activities to authorities

No Liability

800one.com is not liable for damages resulting from your misuse of the Services.

If you believe someone is violating this policy, please report it to us at helpdesk@800one.com with details (e.g., account name, nature of violation). We'll review and respond within 5 business days.
